The BOSK Battery Plant is a joint venture between Ford Motor Company and SK Innovation. It is located in Glendale, Kentucky, and is expected to create 5,000 jobs. The plant will produce lithium-ion batteries for Ford's electric vehicles. The BOSK Battery Plant is a $5.8 billion investment.

The state-of-the-art Spring Hill plant will use the most advanced and efficient battery cell manufacturing processes. The facility is scheduled to begin production in January 2024 and will employ 1,700 people in new high-tech jobs. 2.8 Sqft

The company’s first automotive battery plant globally, will be the hub of developing and producing lithium-ion batteries for our expanding portfolio of electrified vehicles, and so much more. When TBMNC comes online in 2025, it will begin production with 100% renewable energy and have six battery production lines: four supporting Hybrid Electric Vehicles and two supporting Battery Electric Vehicles.

Ford's Campus at BlueOval City will be the home of the Tennessee Electric Vehicle Center, which will produce our next generation all electric truck. This Campus will reimagine how electric vehicles and batteries are designed, built and recycled – all Built for America.

Ultium Cells Lansing is the third battery cell manufacturing facility of the company. When finished, the facility will be 2.8 million-square-feet (roughly the size of 30 football fields), have a cell operational capacity of 41 GWh, and a total investment amounting to $2.6 billion. The facility is scheduled to begin production in Quarter 4 of 2024 and by EOY 2025 will employ more than 1,700 people in new high-tech jobs.
